We, the undersigned, call on Cardiff Council to fully fund the refurbishment of the play areas in Fairwater and Pentrebane.

Cardiff Council’s continued neglect of our area’s playgrounds shows that some areas are more equal than others in our city.

All children have a right to play, and every child in Cardiff should have access to high-quality play provision within their local community.

We demand that the Council take urgent action to provide high-quality play opportunities for the children of Fairwater and Pentrebane, as offered to others across the city.

The children of Fairwater and Pentrebane, like all children in Cardiff, deserve fair play and equal opportunities.
