We, the undersigned, are extremely concerned about the severe parking problems being caused - and set to worsen - by the redevelopment of the former community centre on Leckwith Road into 41 flats with only 6 allocated parking spaces.
This level of provision is wholly inadequate and is already putting immense pressure on local residential streets. It is unreasonable to expect existing residents to bear the consequences of poor planning decisions.
We call on Cardiff Council to take urgent action by installing and fully funding a resident parking scheme in the affected area. Local residents must not be financially penalised for a situation that is entirely beyond their control.
